Edogawa Falcons the first finalists of Kanto Cup 2000

In an intense but low scoring match the Falcons defeated the Lalazar by 4 runs. Falcons 98 in 23.3 overs. Lalazar 95 in 25.4 overs. The match was conducted with the help of neutral umpires.

Pacific Cup 1st match postponed

The first match of the Pacific Cup that was scheduled to take place at Shizuoka on Sunday, March 26 has been postponed due to the incessant rains that left the ground in knee-deep waters. The new date will be announced very soon. This match, incidentally, was the Engineers' first match of the season.

Sheikh is back and so are the Falcons!

Sheikh has withdrawn his resignation unconditionally after some background negotiations among the committee members. The decision came more than a week after his dramatic resignation from the committee in which he was a member last year as well. With this, the crisis that was looming large over the competition has blown over, hopefully, for ever.

Pacific Cup series

The Shizuoka Kytes and The Indian Engineers(IECC) will be playing a three match series - spanning the whole season - starting from 2000 season. This series has been named Pacific Cup which will be a rolling cup. The proposed annual seriess will be played in Shizuoka and the first match of the series is scheduled to take place on March 26th. Kanto Cup 2000

The first match of the Kanto Cup 2000 will be played on April 16 with the runners up of 1999 Friends XI taking on one time champion Lalazar Sports at the Edogawa ground and the YC & AC taking on the Shizuoka Kytes at Shizuoka. See the schedule for more details.

Kanto Cup 1999

The Sri Lankan Lions lead by Rohita Wijesekera defeated the Friends XI lead by Syed Amir Ali. Both teams hadn't lost a single match during the league level. It was exciting finish to the grand tournament.
